Plan crash in lukla nepal

A crew member was injured when an aircraft of Goma Airlines crashed while landing at the Tenzing Hillary Airport in Lukla of Solukhumbu on Saturday.

The injured has been identified as air hostess Pragya Manandhar. She has been airlifted to Kathmandu on a chopper.

According to Prem Nath Thakur, spokesperson at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), the incident might have occurred due to strong wind.

The aircraft with call sign 9N-AKY was carrying cargo when the incident took place at around 2 pm today.

Thakur said that security personnel are searching for pilot Paras Rai and co-pilot Shreejan Manandhar.

The plane had taken off from the TIA at 1 pm.
