Bhutan is a landlocked country that has remained isolated from the rest of the world until 1960s. However, to visit the country and observe its prosperous culture which the government has carefully endeavored to preserve over the years, is quite rewarding.
The five day trip begins from arrival in Kathmandu. One of our representatives will welcome you and transfer you to Druk Airline check in counter to catch a flight to Paro. En-route, you can relish the mountain views. Once you reach Paro, a guide from Bhutan will welcome you to his kingdom and lead you to the hotel. After lunch, you will visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest monastery of Bhutan and have a glimpse of Paro town. The next day we hike to Taktsang Monastery view point. In the afternoon, you will make a visit to the National Museum and drive to Thimpu. The third day is spent on Thimpu sightseeing. The next morning is spent on leisure or wandering around Thimpu. In the afternoon, we return back to Paro and return back to Bangkok the next day.

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu (D) Depart by flight to Kathmandu the capital of Nepal. Arrival Tribhuwan International Airport, meet and greet by our airport representative. Proceed for tour of Swoyambhunath. The Buddhist Temple Swoyambhunath Stupa is one of Kathmandu’s most important tourist attractions. This temple stands on a hilltop west of Kathmandu, with great views over the city. Swoyambhunath is also known as Monkey Temple due to the large colony of lively resident monkeys, who like to run and play around the temple complex and are happy to eat any snacks offered by visitors. Next continue visit Durbar Square holds the palaces of the Malla and Shah kings who ruled over the city. Continue visit Bodhnath is the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal. This ancient site is surrounded by numerous monasteries. Proceed for Welcome Dinner with Nepalese Cultural Show in local restaurant. Return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 KATHMANDU- PARO-THIMPHU (B/L/D)After Breakfast, transfer to Domestic Airport to board Druk Air, Bhutan's National Airline to Paro. The flight to Paro offers fascinating views of the eastern Himalayan range, including Mt. Everest. On arrival in Paro you will be received by our local representative and transfer to Thimpu, which takes a one and half hour drive. Check into Hotel Thimphu for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03THIMPHU- WANGDUE- PUNAKHA (B/L/D)After Breakfast, tour in Thimpu covers National Memorial Chorten, Tashi Cho Dzong, Takin mini zoo, Post office for stamps and Traditional paper factory and Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Point). Drive to Punakha for 2 and half hours. On the way stop at Do Chula pass (3050 m) for tea/coffee and enjoy our first view of the eastern Himalayan Mountains. Drive on to Wangduephodrang. Visit Chimi Lakhang, a temple dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kuenley who as the famous saint of the Bhutanese people is known affectionately as “Divine Mad Monk”. Then continue with drive to Punakha, check into hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04 PUNAKHA-PARO (B/L/D)After breakfast, visit to Punakha Dzong, which lies between two rivers known as Phochu and Mochu, symbolizing the masculine and the feminine co-existence their currents are of different colours and they unite at this point. Then drive to Thimphu for a brief stop to hunt for souvenirs. Then continue on to Paro for overnight stay.
Day 05 PARO (B/L/D)After early breakfast in hotel, start the excursion to Takshang Monastery perched giddily on a rocky ledge, with a waterfall cascading as if from the blue. Afternoon visit Kychu temple which dates back to the 7th century, Kyichu temple is one of the last three surviving temples. Visit a Bhutanese farm house to see how Bhutanese farmers live and get a taste of their hospitality and including a taste of the local rice wine “ara”. Evening cultural show at the hotel with options to dress up in Bhutanese traditional attire and join the fun and take pictures. Complimentary local whiskey will be served during the show.
Day 06 PARO- KATHMANDU (B/L/D)After breakfast, drive to the airport for flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, continue visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur is listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO for its rich culture, temples, and wood, metal and pottery and handicraft. Actually Bhaktapur is really crucial for the Hindu temples, Museums, Newari People. It has own its features which attracts lots of tourists for the sightseeing, there is lots of Hindu philosophy. Bhaktapur's main square, Durbar Square, houses the 55-window Palace which was constructed by King Jitamitra Malla and was home to royalty until 1769. It is now a National Gallery. Close by is the Golden Gate which leads into Mulchok Court which is home to the Taleju Temple. This temple, like others in the main towns of the Kathmandu Valley, is dedicated to the goddess Taleju Bhawani and includes shrines to both the Taleju Bhawani and Kumari. Entrance to the temple is restricted to Hindus and the living goddess strictly cannot be photographed. Transfer to Thamel Street for last minute shopping. Proceed for Farewell Dinner at Local Restaurant. Back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07 Final Departure (B) Breakfast in the Hotel. Free until (Check Out Hotel at 12Noon). Transfer to Airport for departure flight, with beautiful memories Bhutan & Nepal.
