About Trip

Pisang Peak Climbing takes on the classic Annapurna Circuit Trek trail and deviates at the Pisang peak(6091m) to scale this natural beauty. Considered a technical climb, reaching the top is rewarding with awesome views of Annapurna massif, Tilicho Peak, Gangapurna et cetera. The journey through villages along the way gives an introduction to the unique and culturally rich ethnic groups.

After the preparation of climbing permit, we head to Bhulbhule where the trek starts. We then take the trail to Chamche from where we further ascent to Bagarchap. Climbing a rocky trail and passing through rhododendron forest, we reach Chame, the headquarters of Manang. Moving along the rugged trails with the backdrop of white snow peaks, we reach Pisang village. After rest and preparation at Pisang peak high camp(5030m), we summit Pisang Peak(6091m) where outstanding mountain views await us. We head back to the base camp and the next day, move on to Manang, a cultural village in the heart of the Himalayas. Ascending to Yak Kharka and further on to ThorungPhedi where we take a rest before the early morning climb to Thorung La Pass. Thorung La Pass(5416) is a strenuous climb, yet equally rewarding with magnificent views. The day's trek ends at Muktinath a pilgrimage site for Hindus. From Muktinath, we take a slow drive to Jomsom, the district headquarters. From here we further drive to Tatopani, Beni, and Pokhara and then back to Kathmandu.
